Creating and Teaching Behavioral Expectations in Inclusive Early Childhood Settings
Join us for a two part, dynamic and practical course designed for early childhood educators seeking to foster inclusive, positive learning environments using Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs).
In each session, you'll explore how to create, plan, write, implement, and teach behavioral expectations and rules that support all learners in inclusive early childhood classrooms.

Session 2: Wednesday, November 19, 2025 - 4:30pm - 7:30pm

Course Description
"This course shares Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) for creating, planning, writing, implementing and teaching behavioral expectations and rules to students in inclusive early childhood settings. This course utilizes strategies from The Pyramid Model, a positive behavior intervention model for Early Childhood, in combination with individualized strategies, to support all student’s acquisition of behavioral expectations and rules in an inclusive early childhood classroom."Course Objectives
Participants will…discuss inclusion in an Early Childhood Setting.
differentiate between expectations and rules
determine and create 3-5 classroom expectations
create a rule matrix for one, or more, areas of a classroom
know 3+ Evidence Based Practices for teaching expectations/rules in an inclusive setting
identify Universal Design for Learning (UDL)strategies for teaching behavioral expectations and rules.
