You’re invited to join an engaging professional development experience exploring how AI can enhance teaching and learning in inclusive classrooms.

Instruction will take place over four live Zoom sessions, supplemented by eight hours of asynchronous coursework in Canvas.

Through this combination of interactive live sessions and self-paced activities, educators will discover practical ways AI can support diverse learners, simplify accommodations, and strengthen instructional practices. Participants will reflect on their current strategies, identify opportunities for growth, and gain hands-on experience with AI tools that promote subject learning, executive functioning, and social-emotional development. With guided practice, collaborative reflection, and goal setting, this course equips educators with actionable, AI-driven approaches to improve efficiency while fostering more accessible and equitable learning environments. By the end of the course, participants will leave with a personalized action plan and ready-to-use AI integrations designed to enhance student success.

Course Objectives

Understand AI’s Role in Education – Define artificial intelligence and its applications in inclusive classrooms, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and student accommodations.

Assess Current Practices – Evaluate their own instructional strategies and identify areas where AI can enhance learning and accessibility.

Explore AI Tools – Investigate AI-powered tools that support content learning, executive functioning, and social-emotional development.

Develop AI-Driven Strategies – Apply AI tools to differentiate instruction, improve student engagement, and streamline accommodations.

Implement & Track Progress – Create an action plan, implement AI-driven strategies, and document outcomes to measure student impact.

Reflect & Refine – Analyze results, share insights with peers, and refine AI integration for continuous improvement.
