In this micro-credential, educators, in collaboration with a team of stakeholders, plan and implement a process to map campus and community assets to support the development of a sustainable community school. This micro-credential is one of an 8-part Community Schools Improvement Science series designed to give participants the strongest skills available to implement a best practice version of the Community School strategy at any school. Course Objectives

In this micro-credential, educators use multiple methods to identify and document campus and community assets. They gather information through diagrams, interviews, conversations, focus groups, and community histories; summarize findings; and begin creating an asset guide stakeholders can use to support the development of a community school.
