Course Objectives

In this micro-credential, the educator examines the evolving vocabulary of AI and its increasing humanistic characteristics. They learn how AI systems are trained to create anthropomorphistic responses and then examine how systems can use human-like responses to connect with vulnerable populations. They will then examine their own language, which can help mitigate misinformation regarding AI. Educators will analyze common examples of anthropomorphic wording, revise into accurate language, and apply clear explanations in instruction or communication.
