Course Objectives

In this micro-credential, educators explore how artificial intelligence systems - such as chatbots, summarizers, or recommendation tools - mirror the data and design choices behind them. By comparing outputs from AI tools built on differing information sources or perspectives, educators analyze how bias arises and how it shapes responses. They then design and facilitate a classroom experience that helps students recognize, question, and discuss bias in AI systems.
