Bully Free Schools: Creating Bully-Free Environments with Structured Settings (15 clock hours)
In order to earn clock hours for NEA micro-credentials, you need to:
(1) Complete WEA micro-credential orientation to learn about the process and select a micro-credential. Complete orientation ONCE.
(2) Register for an NEA micro-credential https://nea.certificationbank.com/Washington/WEA/StackLibrary_WEA.aspx AND register for WEA clock hours for the specific NEA micro-credential you selected. (You are registering for WEA clock hours on this page.)
(3) Complete the WEA micro-credential workshop EVERY TIME you are working on a new micro-credential.

Educator successfully create safe, bully-free environments within structured settings. Types of Evidence Required: image or document of list and written artifacts.Course Objectives
The educator assesses what the students know and encounter when it comes to bullying. The educator then creates a lesson plan to teach students about bullying. Together, they co-develop a list of issues related to bullying that students have experienced in a structured learning environment. The educator and students then co-create a list of positively stated expectations behaviors of how they will treat each other. Lastly, the class will develop a check in system to monitor progress.
