Classroom Practice - Understanding Content: Collaboration Between Colleagues (15 clock hours)
In order to earn clock hours for NEA micro-credentials, you need to:
(1) Complete WEA micro-credential orientation to learn about the process and select a micro-credential. Complete orientation ONCE.
(2) Register for an NEA micro-credential https://nea.certificationbank.com/Washington/WEA/StackLibrary_WEA.aspx AND register for WEA clock hours for the specific NEA micro-credential you selected. (You are registering for WEA clock hours on this page.)
(3) Complete the WEA micro-credential workshop EVERY TIME you are working on a new micro-credential.

Educator collaborates with others to expand their content knowledge to keep up with changes in the discipline, make academic language accessible to students, and develop learners' abilities to independently engage in and evaluate their work. Types of Evidence Required: Written artifact, Lesson Plan AND written artifact, 2-minute video.Course Objectives
The educator shares content-related practices with colleagues and uses observation, coaching, and feedback to improve their teaching and student understanding. The educator interacts with colleagues across the globe to build networks of support for their own growth in interdisciplinary and to promote equitable practices in their classrooms, schools, districts, and communities.
