In order to earn clock hours for NEA micro-credentials, you need to:
(1) Complete WEA micro-credential orientation to learn about the process and select a micro-credential. Complete orientation ONCE.
(2) Register for an NEA micro-credential https://nea.certificationbank.com/Washington/WEA/StackLibrary_WEA.aspx AND register for WEA clock hours for the specific NEA micro-credential you selected. (You are registering for WEA clock hours on this page.)
(3) Complete the WEA micro-credential workshop EVERY TIME you are working on a new micro-credential.

In this micro-credential, the educator will explore restorative practices to strengthen relationships and build a community where harm can be addressed and repair Restorative Justice is a philosophy and theory of justice that emphasizes repairing the harm caused by conflict and wrongdoing. It provides an opportunity for everyone impacted by an incident to come together in a safe space to address their feelings and needs and reach a resolution that repairs the harm and restores relationships. Types of Evidence Required: Self-assessment, Revised classroom routines and expectations and a presentation.Course Objectives
Educator learns the foundations of Restorative Practices, analyzes and reflects on their current classroom practices, begins to think of ways to implement restorative practices, and shares what they have learned with various audiences.
