Course Description

In this course, participants will learn to unlock their potential and enhance their personal and professional relationships with the True Colors Personal Awareness & Success Training. This engaging and interactive course utilizes the True Colors personality assessment to help participants understand their unique strengths, motivations, and communication styles. Participants will use their understanding of these skills to help support successful engagement with colleagues, students, families, and communities from diverse backgrounds. By exploring these insights, participants will gain valuable tools for improving self-awareness, fostering better teamwork, and achieving personal and career success that can be used to support effective communication with diverse audiences.

Course Objectives

Participants will:

Understand True Colors Personality Types: Discover the four primary personality types identified by the True Colors framework—Blue, Gold, Green, and Orange—and learn how each type influences behavior, communication, and decision-making.

Enhance Self-Awareness: Reflect on one's own True Colors profile to identify strengths, preferences, and areas for growth while understanding how personality type affects interactions with others and approach to challenges.

Improve Communication Skills: Develop strategies to communicate more effectively with individuals of different personality types while learning to tailor communication style to build stronger, more empathetic connections.
