This work session is a continuation of Work Sessions I and II, where NBCTs will get feedback on entire final drafts of the Written Commentary for either Component 1 or Component 2.

National Board Maintenance of Certification Session III: Polishing Your Components (3 hrs)

Course Description
In order to maintain National Board certification educators must complete and submit a Maintenance of Certificate (MOC) every 5 years. This work session is a continuation of Work Sessions I and II, where NBCTs will get feedback on entire final drafts of the Written Commentary for either Component 1 or Component 2. They will come in with their own final draft and participate in a protocol for warm and cool feedback with colleagues. It will be a 120-minute work session, with an optional 30-minute question and answer, held on Zoom and the third in a 3-part series of work sessions. Participants may choose to take this session more than once, bringing a final draft of a different component each time. Prerequisites: In order to attend, NBCTs must bring a final draft of one component.Course Objectives
Review the protocol for feedback.
Share a final draft of one PGE or a final draft of Component 2 with other NBCTs for feedback.
Network with other MOC candidates from around the state, creating informal support structures for candidacy ahead.
Engage in collaborative conversation to spark interest and feedback on ideas.
