Professional Learning Cmty for Neurodiversity-Affirming Inc Behavior Support-Extended Workshop (Equity) (20hr)

Course Description
Participants in this course will form a Professional Learning Community (PLC) cohort to collaboratively engage in action research and apply neurodiversity-affirming behavioral strategies within their educational contexts. Together, they will design and implement behavior interventions that honor student identity, strengths, and autonomy. Through data collection and analysis, participants will make informed decisions about their interventions while critically examining personal and systemic biases. With the support of their cohort and instructors, participants will move from theory to practice, fostering more inclusive and equitable classrooms. The course culminates with participants presenting their findings, celebrating their progress, and creating actionable plans to sustain and expand their neurodiversity-affirming practices. This course is organized in a way that models universal design for learning (UDL), providing firm goals with flexible means and multiple points of access. Each assignment is also evaluated with a holistic single point rubric.Course Objectives
