The SEA Dignity Conference educates our SEA educators on racial and social justice. The conference is planned
as a full day of learning, with each session designed to build upon prior learning of self awareness and Belonging. As students need to feel like they belong to know how thier behaviors effect others, and how we can learn to create space for others. Especially when we have a population of students who are experiencing homelessness. Educators will explore ideas on how to engage in story of self, Courageous Conversations around the use of diverse families. Intervention session, educators will be provided updated information and state standards around student discipline in the classroom basic challenges in common areas such as hallways, and recess or hang out areas. These various sessions will create a systematic approach to mitigate racial disruption to student success while also focusing on how the work needs us all to work togehter for the common good.

Course Description
The SEA Dignity Conference educates our SEA educators on racial and social justice. The conference was planned as a whole, with each session designed to provide awareness on student behaviors, and how we can educate and build awareness with students around human respect and dignity. Educators will explore ideas on how to engage students in Courageous Conversations around the use of the N-word in a school environment. In a Behavior Intervention session, educators will be provided updated information and state standards around student discipline in the classroom, the hallways, and common areas. These various sessions will create a systematic approach to mitigate racial disruption to student success.Course Objectives
1 – Educators will be updated on State discipline standards
2 – Educators will feel empowered to have racial equity conversations
3- Educators will learn how to hold Restorative circle practices in classroom or workspaces.
4– Educators will know how to engage in fair discipline systems within the classrooms
5- Educators will build shared community
