This third session in the WEA National Board Certification information series helps educators decide possible next steps and timelines with the certification process. Educators explore various support options available and finalize a personal check-list to guide their National Board journey.Course Objectives
Examine the National Board candidate timeline in detail
Assess one’s personal interest and readiness to undertake the National Board process
Analyze equity aspects of the National Board process related to one’s candidacy
Identify an initial, possible timeline component strategy for submission to the National board
Explore current National Board candidate support options, and essential next steps
Learn about OSPI’s Conditional Loan, as well as the new NBPTS monthly payment option
