Course Description
Home Stretch is an opportunity for National Board candidates to receive feedback on their written portfolio components, along with preparation for the Assessment Center. During the morning session, candidates can receive feedback on their choice of Component 2, 3 or 4 written commentary. In the afternoon session, candidates can opt for feedback on a second component or the Assessment Center (Component 1) preparation. Supported work groups are also offered in both sessions for candidates to work and have an NBCT as a resource.Course Objectives
- Give and receive feedback on Components 2, 3, & 4 from a like-certificate NBCT and other candidates in a small group setting.
- Critically analyze candidates' Written Commentary using a standards-based rubric.
- Prepare & practice for the Assessment Center.
Note: We do our best to have NBCTs in the same certificate area as candidates based on registration numbers and facilitator availability.
